Here are my work outfits from this week. I feel they very well represent my heavy shift towards woven tops, both blouses and button downs. Don't know what will happen to all of my pretty knitted tops. Looking back at my work WIWs, I can clearly noticed that every week there is usually one or none knitted top. I have also developed a taste for tucking into normal rise belted jeans after trying Angie's soft masculine outfit, so I am on a hunt for tan/taupe belt for such outfits. I also had fun wearing some new items for the first time - mint silk blouse in #3, denim vest and white blouse in #4 and tan Born Arletta oxfords in #5
#1: Business casual with subtle pattern mixing, as I was attending a workshop about switching from science into consulting. Learned enough to know that consulting is definitely not for me.
Patterned cardigan and lilac silk blouse - Express, charcoal pinstripe flare pants - 7FAMK, grey wedges - Aerosoles
#2: Colder and rainy day - so slightly more substantial version of my summer work formula.
Black/white ponte blazer - Express, white/black blouse - Club Monaco, black pinstripe skinnies - R&S, red cutout booties - Aerosoles
#3: Much nicer day, so went for lighter colors.
Mint silk blouse - H&M, cream skinnies - 7FAMK, metallic loafers - Born, woven brown belt - Gap
#4: Denim on denim and the second version of my summer work formula.
Light denim vest - H&M, white top - Old Navy, straight jeans - Diesel, metallic loafers - Born
#5: Another tucked in shirt look. I also wore in the evening this to an unexpected outing to watch Riverdance on the open outside stage as I did not have time to go home and change.
Pink shirt - BR, cream vest - VS, brown micro check pants - COH, brown belt - Gap, nude oxfords - Born Arletta
