Twice now I found myself wearing very close to what another YLFer was! First was Rae's long sharkbite tank over short shorts. Same day I wore my long peplum over short purple shorts to walk to the corner store(s) and run errands.
Next Ornella had her red top with white skirt. I wore a red tank with white skirt to couch hunt with the BF Wednesday.
Today wasn't sharing with anyone (that I know of so far!). Put on my linen dress I was thinking of purging. But I have to say, in this very very humid heat, I was so thankful for it. I might just keep it until I move. I mean, my knees were sweating and dripping into my sandals standing there at the post office it was so bad. You could see a pool at my belly button. Yuck. Note to self: shower in the afternoons after all errands are done. Just like being in the Caribbean.
I will say, I have not hit a hot weather style stride yet. Just coping right now.
And figuring out what to get rid of
As a side note, when I dropped stuff off at consignment I grabbed this out of the window (pic 5) with my $5 balance as a lounge at the house/throw over a swimsuit kind of thing. As I got it home, I realized it combines the maxi I recently hemmed and hawed over and the new red ombre dress I have on the way. Funny how that works.
