Some Fabbers asked, when I have mentioned this item before, if I could post when I wore it. I have probably worn it about another 10 times this winter. It is my oldest item in regular wear. I also have my mother's 1964 red wool coat but I wear it seldom, and a 1985 tartan shirt which is worn about twice per winter under a particular cowl-neck red jumper only where the neckline suits. I paid a lot of money for this in 1986, my second year of work, because I LOVED it. I adore bright colours and this has 4! I obviously looked better in it with a 25 year old face and long curly hair then, and over 20 kg slimmer, but due to the shape it still fits and still makes me happy to look down and see it. If I am still alive in another 31 years at age 87, maybe I could still wear it?! Mondi was a German knitwear brand which is sadly no longer around. The jumper was imported to an expensive Auckland, NZ boutique at the time. Made in Germany.
