had a conference to attend and unseasonably hot here in SF.

I think pointy toes would have been better. I'm looking for some.

My husband is terrible at photos so the indoor ones are very foreshortened.

How super cute are you, Melinda. FAB outfit. You had me with the white jeans, but the new blouse is gorgeous. I like the Retro tweaks in this look - the blouse and the specs. Remix them with Modern, and you're in business. Nicely done.

Heh. I remember you writing elsewhere that you're tall, so it's a relief to see how these cameras distort our frames. (I am short and really look gnome-like in some of my pics.)

This outfit is super-stylish and yet looks relaxed and not overdone. I love that it's black and white, but I could also see a pop of bright red in an accessory sometime too.

I'm loving animal prints all over again, and to see you rocking this gorgeous top early in the morning is a treat for my eyes!

Seeing myself in these pants I can see I really want a larger size and relegate these to legging status. I also hate the baggy knees!

The shoes are comfortable and casual but I wil still shop for a more dainty black sandal or pointy because these feel too high contrast for my goal.

This blouse is going to be a workhorse. I was lucky the sales woman at Nordstrom suggested it. It was comfortable, light, flattering and versatile. It. Requires a tank because the front isn't sewn shut. Good thing I wore a yummie cami today!!

So glad to have your feedback on this! I'm already thinking how else to style it.
