Here is what I wore last Thursday and Friday.
#1-2 pale gray sweater tank, chiffon scarf with oranges, lemons, black and lime green colors, added black cardi for cool weather. The skirt is a black chambray which I love because it fits so well, and keep forgetting I have since I automatically reach for my plain pencil, or knit flared skirt. Need to wear it more. (This is the day when I had to visit a new dentist on emergency call for my absent dentist, and go to the oral surgeon to get a fractured tooth pulled - so I looked a lot more put together than I felt on the nerve and mental aspects!)
#3-4 pale blush tank with ruffley appliques, ink blue chambray skirt (ATLOft 3 yrs. old), "matching" cardigan with ruffles and pearly buttons, navy ballet flats. This day I had to interview a young grad student suddenly, as our newest part time helper got a new full time job out of town and needs the benefits, hence leaving us in the lurch in the busy season (I am really glad she got a job, so just kidding.)
Boy, planning my workwear for each day gave me a tiny boost of energy and confidence to handle surprise events!
Since I probably won't wear these tops until next summer, I was glad to give them one more round of attention.
Sorry for the blurry last photo. Thanks for looking!
