I'm continuing to audition metallic or taupe oxfords to add to my wardrobe. Meanwhile, I have these tan Born Arlettas (three or four years old) that are easy to wear, especially now that I have a tan belt and a couple of bags that coordinate with them.
The outfits:
1-3 (worn for a day off, and a trip to see the otters--otherwise known as a visit to the aquarium!): white boyfriend jeans (Kut from the Kloth, Catherine); blue, slate gray, taupe and off-white blurry-print knit top (made by me); tan belt (Trafalgar); weathered tan oxfords (Born, Arletta); brown stone and silver necklace (gift); hammered silver half-hoop earrings (Marjorie Baer); olive jacket (Laundry by Shelli Segal); navy and tan satchel (Dooney & Bourke). I rolled the pant legs this time; they looked a little short to wear down, as in the previous day's post.
4-8 (worn for a day off and piano lesson): black and white strip knit tee (Caslon); black, gray, and white snakeskin print cotton cardigan (Foxcroft); tan belt (Trafalgar); dark straight-leg jeans (Kut from the Kloth, Stevie); weathered tan oxfords (Born, Arletta); brushed silver dangle hoops (Marjorie Baer); black packable travel coat (Cole Haan); black and brown snake print cross body bag (Aimee Kestenberg). I showed the back of the coat, as it has a tie that I really like, and the hem dips down in back.
Thanks for looking! Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome!
