Totally guilty of pretentious titles...
In my defence, the thread title is not inspired by my seven outfits, instead it is about last week's event which I mentioned in one of the earlier posts, DS celebrating his 7th birthday. Thank you all for the good wishes expressed. He is a magnificent person already, the time with him is magnificent and I feel magnificent being his mum. See, quite justified
About the outfits
The weekend before I posted an outfit inspired by Angie's thread about Bally wearable catwalk collection. What I loved about it is how it fitted with my FFBO of turtleneck/sweater + ponte pencil skirt + scarf (optional), so I simply wanted to play with it more with two conditions:
- there must be blue element in the outfit (DS's favourite colour)
- to each new day I carry over at least one piece from the previous day
I wanted to see if I'll get bored, saturated, inspired, or anything else.
The conclusion
I could go on forever. Even with the limited amount of clothes in rotation I felt great. All the outfits tick my most important boxes - colour and comfort, all are suitable for my lifestyle and I could easily use them as the basis for great travel capsule.
Best moment of the week
I wore pearls almost all the time and when I asked my son which one he liked the most, he replied:
"2 million times one hundred percent I like them all the same".
He's currently fascinated by the concept and meaning of 100%
