WIW: the last jacket (with new Wit and Wisdom brocade jeans)

Here is the last jacket in my Jacket Challenge (worn yesterday 12.05.12). This is my cobalt knit Tinley Road blazer and is about as close to the "boyfriend fit" blazer as I'll ever get. I had just gotten the Wit and Wisdom brocade jeans from Nordie's the day before and couldn't wait to wear them, so it was a no-brainer to pair the two. I actually think the tee is slightly too short in this outfit, but I liked it anyway.

These are the indigo brocade jeans, by the way, even though they look black in the photo. I noticed that Angie just put them in the YLF store, so I have put a full review there if anyone is interested. Thanks to Jenava for all the help with sizing and fit.

Thanks, ladies! This jacket is super comfy to wear, since it's knit and loose fitting. It does not feel like you're wearing a blazer at all.

I have lots more ideas for the brocade skinnies... am thinking they will be excellent for more casual holiday affairs too.

JR and TraceyLiz: So I know it is controversial (I get comments on it every time) but I actually am loving my sleeves to be slightly too long and slouchy these days. I know not everybody likes it, but that's OK!

Hah! I'm blogging about those brocade jeans right now They look fab on you, Diana! I agree that a longer topper would look better, but the blue blazer is great with it.

Btw, you mentioned in a blog comment that you never wear body con fits. All your skinnies are body con fits

Ha, I know, Angie. I guess when I think of body con I think more of boobs/waist/hips and not legs, but you are right, legs count too!

Beth Ann, well they fit both me and Jenava well, so I'd say they are good for pear/hourglass types, generous through the hip. The waist is fairly high.
