Now that I am home alone most of the day, I've been making an effort to wear actual clothing, not just completely gross schlubby things. I was on the verge of donating these silk sari wrap skirts, or refashioning them into tops, because I just never wear them - they are a bit too exotic for rural OK, and I don't really appreciate the looks and comments I get when I wear something so blatantly foreign to the locals. But! They are so beautiful! And so luxurious feeling to wear! And so very me. So I've been wearing them at home. They are easy to throw on, very comfortable, and make me feel fab. I do have a hard time finding tops to wear with them - not completely thrilled with what I have here, but I figure the more I wear them, the more I will figure out what to wear on top.
What you think? Are you on board with silk skirts as lounge/home wear?
