We had a simple day but decided to go big on traditional food. I had planned to switch to my floral sweater but was too lazy to change out of plaid flannel after cooking much of the morning.
I wanted to feel the presence of my kids, grandkids and mother-in-law, since we all stayed separate this year. We took a nice walk just before sunset, so here’s a view from the edge of our town looking south on a lovely November evening.
