We had the welcome treat of not needing to cook or buy a single thing for Thanksgiving dinner -- I offered several times but my stepson's wife insisted nothing was needed. Sure enough, she and her sisters put together a wonderful dinner for us! It was so good to be home and share the day with our new extended family.
My WIW photos were literally snapped as we were running out the door, so I didn't even stop to take off my coat/jacket or scarf, which were removed when we got to my stepson's apartment.
I wore the mixed media (faux leather front/pointe back) pants from Anthro last year, striped Maeve top also from Anthro, Topshop red tortoise-heeled booties, and topped it with the gray wool Lot78 long jacket I got at Century 21 in NYC this spring, too late to wear it before the weather turned warm. I like the black leather tipping and thought it was a fun way to play up the leather pants.
I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a happy one!
