@Inge, thanks! I added a detail below just for you. Dark gray with darker gray lines, bands of muted ink blue, and then lighter lines in white and bright red. Plaid often has to include cheeky, clashing colors, you know? The old me would have balked at putting orange with red, but I've...grown up?
@Suz, yes, I have warmed up to hoodies greatly (no pun intended), especially in non-lockerroomesque fabrics. I should probably add more; I don't have many. They are a definite staple around these parts--you can almost never go wrong with a hoodie here.
And, have revisited plaid with intention now that I've noticed less frumpy items in it that are nothing like the 70s-style or boarding-school-plaid things I remember from back when. I don't know WHY I decided a few months ago that I needed punky plaid trousers. But I did. (And then Angie enabled by sporting her own.)
