Inspired by Aida and Neel, this was me yesterday:

• Old, thrifted orange tee (actually has metallic sheen), Faded Glory
• Oldish (but like new), thrifted orange leather croc-embossed belt, Adrienne Vittadini
• Checked gray trousers, Mango
• Rust suede bootlets, Clarks
• Old, thrifted gray microfiber cardi, Ann Taylor
• Navy blue hoodie sweatshirt, St. John's Bay
• (silver hoop earrings, silver chain bracelets, orange disk ring, etc.)

Now...I didn't actually need the hoodie, it turned out--and if I had actually worn it outside the house it would have been a first, since I generally don't bring that kind of wear outside. But out of what I had, it seemed to work the best. So...a wardrobe hole discovered, I think. And I also need better lighting, I know.

(PS, the Mango pants are meant to be cropped, so I knew they'd work for me as not-cropped. I am tiiiired of hunting for pants that arrive already short enough, a rare beast outside of the jeans category. As it is, I really need to have the back of the waistband brought in on these. Sigh.)

Anyway...orange.
