WIW: Teal Sunset Groceries

A quick WIW for WFH & an easy grocery run (didn't have to go outside, so no hood):
~ Teal blue merino poncho, Kettlewell
~ Teal blue cotton wool jumper, Boden
~ Blurry sunset print mesh skirt, Zara
~ Teal green socks (lol), Nomads

PS - Yes the uncle sandals* with socks were part of my 'look' I've busted my foot (just before Lunar New Year, typical...) so this is all the footwear that fits me (+ socks because no one needs to see my foot right now, lol).

* Or 'Jesus sandals' What do you call this style? (the back strap moves to the front)

Oh, I really like this combination, gorgeous poncho colour, works beautifully with the sunset print of the skirt, and even those “Uncle” sandals and socks somehow seem to work fine together. Sorry about your foot, sure hope it mends quickly.

Haha I'm surprised at the Jesus/ Uncle sandal love (I don't usually wear 'normcore' trends) but I'll take it, thank you! The tricky part now is trying to incorporate them into my CNY outfit, whilst still looking festive...

Thank you - had a busy day seeing family but resting now before it all starts again tomorrow. Am glad we get multiple days off for it & to recover afterwards!
I'm glad I patiently signed up for stock notifications for this skirt! Was originally going to wear my brown mask to blend in, but I liked how the orange one highlights the skirt's colours instead.

Haha you & me both - I even contemplated posting with my feet cut out of the photo at first because of it, lol! (I've seen others pull it off before but not on me - & not with brown leather sandals without a trendy lug sole!)

Haha I guess we have fast fashion like Zara to 'thank' for that one
I can't really take credit for being 'ahead of the curve' because this purchase was dictated by my body & skintone - my closet is saturated with florals but these are the only 'stripes' in there now, because they're low contrast & soft enough to *just about* work with my pear shaped, Romantic/ Soft Classic, Deep Autumn self...
