Inspired by Angie's outfit formula for Sweatshirt Chic, I got out a sweatshirt today. I was kind of going for the look in #2, with trendy jeans.

Here's the outfit: Navy French terry sweatshirt with raw edges (the underside, which shows on the curled edges, is a brick red) and multi-colored zig-zag topstitching (made by me); blue straight-leg, raw-edged high-waisted jeans (Levis, wedgie straight); tan laceless oxfords (Pikolinos); blue and white striped knit cowl-mask; brass diamond shaped earrings (Madewell).

I've included some closeups to show the stitching, and the diamond-shaped brass earrings I like to wear with this sweatshirt. Also, you can see how my hair is growing out after my missed trim appointment. For comparison, the last photos are from right after the last trim. Not bad yet. We'll see how I feel about it in another week!
