Experimenting with a new eyeshadow palette. I’m not sure I love it. It’s entirely matte and requires a lot of work to blend. And it’s all very dark colors: olives, navies, plums, and even two riotous turmeric and sunset orange shades. I love dark eyeshadows but this Palette feels too heavy for warm weather. Thing it might only be for winter wear—if I keep it at all.

Blue is my hardest color to wear. I will wear a little navy and some denim. But I never feel 100% comfortable or myself in blue. Yet, here I am in blue eyeshadows. Idk how I feel about it? It’s good and yet doesn’t feel me. I did not want to do purples and match my shirt. (That always feels very dated to me unless it’s a formal gown and formal occasion.) Neutrals felt boring and not enough. So here we are.

In an effort to simply life and embrace where health and lifestyle currently are, I surrendered and bought 15 pairs of cheap Walmart sweatpants and a couple of huge tops. All dark autumn colors. The sweatpants were $1 each. I’m thankful.

I decided to try knotting my shirt, which I think gives some shape and takes it out of huge sack territory. The knot is a little funky due to the split hem, but it works.

We have rounded the bend of pink eye infection. It ended up being bacterial. It’s now been five days and the doctor said that was the end date for antibiotics. My husband and I so far haven’t caught anything. So looks like we might be clear.
