WIW: sweater+tulip skirt, inspired by Annagybe

A while back Anna posted a couple of WIWs with chunky sweaters semi-tucked into a paper bag skirt.

I thought the pairing was so unexpected and fun and refreshing, and I finally got around to copying it today. I paired my shiny black tulip skirt with a handknit sweater and my taupe boots.

I really enjoyed wearing this today (although I wish I had worn a slip! I had forgotten how staticky this skirt is with tights) and will definitely be doing variations on this theme. Thanks Anna for the inspiration!

I love this - it's the skirt version of slouchy trousers! So awesome and not the typical tulip skirt look at all.

Black tan and teal -- I love the combination (note to self!) The accessories really make this look pop for me. The half tuck is a nice touch because it exposes to tie front. Great job!

Shevia, I absolutely am going to try this with dark boots too. Probably with knee socks like Anna did as well.
