I had a few ideas http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....e-ballpark and in the end ended up bringing 2 outfits. I know it sounds like overkill and kinda silly, but it worked out well actually.
We hit Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom quickly before the game. I just kept my casual BF shorts and open weave sweater on for that. Went to the game, where I found my mascot Big Mo lol. Oh, the Mariners beat the Rays (we were in the visiting seats)
Then to say it stormed is an understatement. Running rivers of water through the parking lot, thunder cracking above, huge pelts of rain. I changed in the car while stuck in traffic on the bridge. A porsche was balanced atop the median divider, must have jumped up off the fast lane toward incoming traffic our way. Crazy looking.
Ended up eating at a nice seafood restaurant and I was happy to have my change of clothes. It was near a mall, so shoppers and others somewhat dressed down came in, but I was happy to be out of my shorts and in a dress.
Last ones are for Heather - she always loves the kitschy roadside stuff we encounter.
