WIW Sun, Mon, Tues: Lounging, Working, Eating

1, Sunday Hubby and I spent the day lounging around. I only left the house to do a little grocery shopping, and tossed on some Target shorts, thrifted striped tee, new hoodie from the Rack, red sandals from Payless and my new Aldo dotted bag. Perfect for a warm Easter around the house!

2. Monday was "leave your jacket on at the office day" because I couldn't resist wearing this new top from the Rack, but didn't want to show this much skin! Black midi is thrifted, black cotton blazer is Halogen, gold bag is Michael Kors, and shoes are Seychelles. Statement necklace from a local boutique.

3. After work Hubby and I had a dinner date for hot dogs at Costco, so I swapped out the skirt for white skinnies, the blazer for my black leather jacket, and took my new Dolce Vita black boots for a spin!

4. Today I had another pair of cute new shoes, courtesy of Hubby! TUK polka-dot t-strap shoes, Halogen green pencil skirt, Comptoir des Cotonniers blouse and blazer, thrifted white belt.

Thanks for looking! Any suggestions for improvement?

1) Luv the thin hoodie. That would be great in my neck of the woods!

2) FAB top! The skirt double vents pair nicely with the tops' back openings! The statement necklace is a nice finishing touch!

3) Where is that awesome black leather jacket from? Still cool enough to wear boots? Once a month we hit up our Sam's Club and eat our pizza dinner there. Hee-hee!

4) Mr. MK is on a roll with the shoes!! Who knew he would be so affected by YLF?!

Y'know, if your hubs ever wanted to change careers, he would stock one fiiiiiiine shoe store!

I enjoyed seeing your more casual side in #1- that is how YLF does a hoodie. And you really have to wear that top in #2 without a jacket sometime!

Agree with Rae, I like seeing casual MaryK The dotty blouse with open back is fab!

Oh man, *that* man's sure a keeper! ADORABLE new shoes, MaryK!

And love the cutout blouse and skirt combo --- like AJ said, the alignment of the vents and cutouts is perfection! And the leaf shape is picked up by the shoes too. Plus the statement necklace repeats the coloured dots on the top. Whew! What a FAB outfit!

As others have said, so nice to see Casual MaryK! Love that slubby/tweedy hoodie with the dotty bag.

I am DROOLING over the new shoes in #4!!! I think I need your hubby to go shoe shopping for me! Will he take requests?

The new polka dot top in #2 and #3 is so much fun MaryK - you could definitely wear it without a jacket in a non work setting. And I love how swapping the skirt to white skinnies really took the top to a different level.

Amazing weekend, Mary K! I must say that most Costco shoppers are not turned out you were! And you are becoming the Queen of Hot-Shoes with these new additions.

That new top is amazing. I understand that you wanted to leave the jacket on but it is a pity that people haven't seen that top in all it's greatness.

Hubby has a great taste for shoes, it makes the outfit extra special.
