Went south to Tampa (and Lutz and Tarpon Springs for more local folks) to see a Tahoe friend in town to visit his family. First stop, very Greek influenced Tarpon Springs for lunch and some window shopping. BF just happened to catch my jewelry only in the 2nd pic. Serendipitous for my jewelry challenge month. Then we pulled over near Lutz to visit an unusual horse by the roadside. (this is part of my whole "be able to still have my lifestyle" rant about fashion and possiblities). Anyway, even the horse can sense who the true animal lover is in our family - nuzzle, nuzzle.
Then we headed off to Ybor to the historic Columbia for appetizers. Later Channelside to Splitsville for bowling fun.
Tomorrow hope to see Lowry Zoo, where said friend's mom volunteers.
Oh, and it was 70 degrees and everyone was in pants, some in boots, some even in gloves. Hilarious. Crazy Floridians.
