This is really what I wore, what I might wear later, what I didn't wear, and taking the orphan out to play.

I got this new BB Dakota strappy baby doll top at my local boutique. The shape is not one I have ever worn before, and I don't usually go out in such a bare top. I really liked the print. Let me know what you think about it. I have a 14 year old that really might be better off with it if it's not right for me!

What I'm going to end up in is the top and J Crew pleated drapy shorts, because I'm mostly just working at home today. I will likely add the pleather jacket if I have to make a run out to get dinner. Or the ruched Vince Camuto skirt.

I'm just posting the other items here because I have this Ann Taylor light lime colored blouse that I bought, thinking it would go with everything. I have yet to wear it. I am still not thrilled with it in this mix. And there's a Vince Camuto stripe tube skirt in this mix, as well as some WHBM cargos that I wore a lot last summer, but for some reason am not loving as much this year. And my neon Rebecca Minkoff tote, that for some reason goes with tons of stuff.

Beautiful lime/black and white color palette. I love all the outfits. And you have some fantastic shoes!

The strappy top can veer a bit twee (I purged two similar ones, but mine had polka dots and frills!). But I think the print of this top and styling is such that it doesn't look twee on you at all IMO. Keep and enjoy! And that RM tote is TDF!

As about the polyvore set, have you tried right clicking on the image and saving to laptop? You can then upload to posts like any other pic.

Oh I think 6 is wonderful! I was surprised when I read that you didn't care for that combo. My favourite with the swingy top is 5 (w the jacket), but I also like it with the shorts for a more casual look and with pencil skirt on its own for going out. I'm not as sure about 2: you and your body look great in it, but since a lot of teens wear skinnies & baby doll tops, that's the only one I see that might make it skew too young.

If you can't just save your set as an image (like Neel suggests), you could also do a screen shot of it & then upload that to your post. If you're on a mac, hold down command + shift+ 4 together: your cursor will change to a target. Place it in one corner of the set & click, then drag it (holding the button down) diagonally across so the whole set is highlighted. Then let the button go, and a screen shot of just what you selected should appear on your desktop. If you're on a pc, the 'print screen' button on your keyboard will take a screen shot of everything, then you can crop it to just the polyvore bit.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense, and I'll be happy to rephrase it!

I ended up doing the mac partial screenshot just as you said, E, just didn't repost. Next time I get polyvore creative, I'm going to do it that way. It would be nice to be able to do it and retain the click ability on the individual pieces, but I don't think that can happen.

Yay I'm glad it worked! (I'm Eva, btw.) Yeah I don't think you can get the links and the image as an attachment.

(And to clarify, I don't think you look like you're dressing too young at all in 2! And your fabulous shoes, and the quality/details of the skinnies/blouse don't say teenager at all. If I were you, I'd definitely wear it out. I was just trying to play a conservative devil's advocate in case it was helpful re: that silhouette.)

All really good. I have a preference for the last one (6&7) tucked. With the top untucked, it might be more casual and updated though.

Most of us don't have the figure to wear it like picture 6, so why not?

I like the top enormously, and that surprises me because I have a near poison eye for the style. But I think Neel is right -- the pattern and colours save it, and it all ends up looking fresh, sophisticated, and chic. I like every single variation. You have some wonderful pieces in your wardrobe.

Also, what Denise said about the VC skirt. Looks amazing in #6.

And I am not at all surprised about that bag working with everything. I had a vivid yellow bag a few years ago that I absolutely adored. It fell apart because I used it so much. I've been hunting for that shade (in the right shape for me) ever since. This would have a similar function. Just gives every outfit a "fizz."
