Yesterday it felt like summer arrived -- very warm temps and a bit more humidity. So it's time to start wearing my lighter weight clothes in earnest!

I wore this yesterday to work in my studio and greet visitors, and then to meet my husband, my niece and her boyfriend for sushi dinner. It was just the right blend of casual but fun for a date.

The jumpsuit was from Vince, two or three years ago, and last summer it was just a smudge too snug in the hip, so I'm relieved that it fits better this year (still would like to get rid of another pesky 5-10 lbs). The vest was from Zara a few years ago, and I love it but don't wear it often. I seem to like it best over sleeveless styles for some reason.

In the evening, I switched out the vest for a cropped, patterned bomber jacket from a few years ago, since it cooled off enough to want sleeves. I didn't get pics of that. It's a jacket that really looks best with either dresses or this jumpsuit, so it doesn't get worn much, but I'm glad I hung onto it because I do enjoy it on the few occasions I get to wear it.

The Hobo bag is my most recent purchase -- on sale and a gorgeous shade of blue, so I couldn't resist. If you look close, you can see that I've been wearing my blue watchband to carry the color into my neutral outfit, and my toenail polish color also matches.

Feedback always welcome.
