WIW: Summer drape

Today was so hot, I decided to go easy and breezy - this crepe architectural drape top and my ubiquitous cargo skirt, both from CM. I could have worn a pencil midi, but that felt a bit boring. Is the skirt sufficiently streamlined enough to work with the top? The top is One of my favourite purchases this summer - the cut somehow feels so fresh to me.

I love the drape of the top! And it works well with the skirt. Would be great with cropped skinny pants and a statement necklace as well.

Really love both pieces together, Roxanna. It's making me want to go back and review CM again as a possible source for tops. This outfit is beautiful, and this is really YOUR palette.

(Roxanna my curls are actually fine and thin, I just spend far too much making it look otherwise! Let's just say there's loads of texturizing product in there Am still planning to post about what I'm doing with my hair these days, hopefully I can do it before heading out of town later this week.)

@viva: I saw @Suz's comment on your tops post and nodded emphatically. CM does great, clean lines tops with just the right amount of sophisticated detail - at least they did in the spring and winter, when I was buying. Very much fits into your moniker of glam gamine (which I love by the way! I only wish I could pull off gamine!) and thank you for the comment on the palette. It is quite a departure from what I was a couple of years ago and I'm finding it very different and maybe not conventionally flattering on golden brown skin, but it feels very me.)
