Greyscale, it took me a while to find the right black silk tank, but it's absolutely been a workhorse! I wear it year-round, too, because nothing feels as good under a sweater as a layer of silk.
Sisi, I don't have a high number of wears on all my clothes, but I've been trying to be more aware in my purchasing. Some things will never get up there. My black party dress, for example, only has about 3 wears, but I've been very glad to have it in my closet when I needed it, and it will still be there when I need it again. Most things I bought this season are still under 10 wears, but if all goes well, I'll keep them for several years and they'll get up there before the end of their lives. I've made a few mistakes and, those items, I try to give a fair shot, but if they really don't work, I'd like to pass them on while they still have life left in them. Long story short, though: I don't have a super large wardrobe and I've been working on buying carefully.
kkards, all of my fitted summer dresses came from eShakti, and I took advantage of their custom sizing. You put in your measurements and boom, perfectly-fitting dress.
Meredith, I go back and forth on these pants, because some days I think the color looks like work overalls and some days I love it. It's a balancing act.
Aquamarine, high five for wearing black in summer! I read recently that it's really not that much hotter than lighter colors, so it's really just about perception.
La Pedestrienne, I just don't like a lot of colors on myself. Makes it easy to stay disciplined. I have no such discipline when it comes to my house, though.
