Thanks Jules!

Thanks Sal! Yes, I agree the colours are Australian too. I guess that’s the desert influence. I wish that translated to more availability at retail but I think the coastal vibe always prevails in Australia. It’s still very warm here (expecting 30 today and 40 tomorrow) but I will be glad if the humidity improves. It usually does in March/April.

Thanks BlueJay. The Mimco bag has been a workhorse. I got it last Summer.

Thanks Lyn67. I don’t know the top but I think the layering works best if the top has quite an open knit - so you see the contrasting under layer. Linen would be great because it’s light and breathable. I wouldn’t wear a polyester mesh top in Summer. My versions for Summer are cotton. I also have one metallic version which is viscose but I only wear that at night.

Those color palettes really speak to me at the moment. And your outfits are inspirational as always. You have great attention to details.

Wow - these are all so wonderful, the Zoe Kratzmann skirt is a brilliant addition, the perfect colour, fit and fabrication. Your summer spice palette is beautiful and suits you so well.

I have been inspired by you to be more deliberate with my accessories over the last 12 months and it has made a huge difference in terms of how much I enjoy wearing simple outfits, such as a denim skirt and t-shirt top. Thank you for posting!

Brooklyn, this is so cool! You really have nailed the palette and the aesthetics, in a way that looks elegant, but completely practical and wearable.

Thanks Mary Beth and Anchie!

Thanks Bijou! Accessories do make a big difference don’t they? Especially in Summer when everything is so pared back. I just bought a set of turquoise and purple beads from Etsy. Beads are a great way to add a small amount of a colour that doesn’t necessarily suit me in a large block. I always think of you and Tanya when I see those colours

What a delicious colour palette! Your looks are pure perfection.

I mean ... Perfection. Your image should pop up anytime some thinks uniform dressing is boring or uninspired ... You are proof positive that an authentic uniform is a wonderful canvas for creativity, individuality and beauty!

I could happily live in your summer wardrobe, so rich, comfortable and elevated all at once. That color palette is really good and I love all the finishing touches. I have several dresses like the green one altered and would be tempted to turn them into skirts too, but not confident I could do the waistband.
