This is Saturday's outfit for shopping and hanging out downtown. It was rainy and since I spent all day out and walking around, so I knew I needed my waterproof trench and comfy, flat boots. Since my weirdo Naot Origami boots have a subtle glittery finish, I decided to go with the daytime sparkle theme and paired them with my brocade jeans. In the last photo, I hope you can see the sparkles. The silk front tunic dress with photo print and faux leather front drapey jacket add more texture and interest. Since everything else in this outfit is a dark neutral, I added a pop of color with my multicolored handknit lace shawl. Very happy with this outfit, and it was good for walking around all day. I think I may take it to Japan with me, although likely with a warmer coat. The shopping was a success too (in case you did not see my other thread, I think I found gold zipper boots!)
