WIW: Subtle bling and earth tones

Thought it was quite amusing that I was wearing this when Angie posted her "Weekly round-up: Subtle Bling with Earth Tones"

This is about as earthtoney as I get... but she had grey and black as part of her roundup, so I figure it counts.

I'm not great at wearing a bit of bling on a regular day, but I wish I was, I certainly enjoy it. How about you? Do you wear bling outside of events and the holiday season?

That looks great! I have a purple metallic sweater that I like to wear on weekdays, otherwise, I keep the bling limited to my jewelry.

Sounds like most of you are like me... bling in your jewellery primarily. Limited in the clothes. But I do love the concept of "subtle bling" .

And thanks for the pants love... these have really become a favourite of mine.

Fabulous outfit! Works so well with your colouring. I am not a huge wearer of bling in my apparel but I love sparkly jewellery and a sparkly clutch.

LOL Suz... I hear ya. Spendember and Shoptober have been fun for me! Believe it or not, these are well known standby's. The pants are BR Sloans, from last year, and the booties are SE Petty's... my version of the ones you wore to death over the past few years. Worn both many times, you probably are noticing things differently now your hair has changed.

This is a great outfit on you.. Day time or any time. I like the idea of daytime bling but don't wear it much. I find that I am most likely to wear bling in the daytime if it is a color. I wore out a chocolate brown top and cardi with a shiny brown thread and have had a burgundy cardi with metallic threads that I liked but gave up because it was itchy mohair. I wear daytime bling most October through December. It seems most acceptable then. Bling with team colors would also be fun for game days.
