Originally this morning I put on a coral a-line dress, but couldn't find a short enough cardigan to wear with it. I guess the dress will have to wait til spring! (note - I could use a cropped cardigan. Adding to the list...)
Instead, I went with a more somber black dress. It's a heavier weight as well, and much warmer. Using my velvet ruffle jacket to add some texture and interest, and accessorized with mostly gold, simple smoky eyes and nude lips. Not sure about the grey tights. I love these flats, they have super cute gold studs on the back. Would have preferred heels with this outfit though. *sigh*
Right now I'm at the upper end of my weight, so while this dress would normally look more like a straight sheath, it's a bit more form fitting today. I feel a bit uncomfortable with how it's fitting and how it looks, so I might relegate this to another section of the closet with some other lower weight items.
Any comments, feedback or opinions are greatly appreciated
