We finally got some springlike weather in Boston this weekend! I took the opportunities to wear my oxfords and trench coat instead of boots and wool coat.
1/2: Liberty shirt, bootcuts, and oxfords on Saturday to run about town doing errands. It was warm enough in the middle of the day for lunch on a patio sans trench coat! Took some boots to the cobbler for new heels and helped J. and his brother buy suits for the wedding. I tried on some dresses at the Rack but was unsuccessful in finding one for the rehearsal dinner. (Tried a couple of great Kate Spades but they were sadly the wrong size...)
J Crew liberty shirt, Lucky jeans, Born oxfords, old pashmina, and Anthro trench.
3/4: Easter Sunday outfit. This was one of the rejected bridal shower outfits featuring a skirt I had when I was 12 and nude hose. I found some pale gold ribbon for the brown oxfords (sadly, could not find any velvet or brocade) so hopefully it lightens them up a bit. Do you think my hair is sufficient to bookend the dark shoes?
Greylin blazer, handknit top, ancient skirt, Nordies' nude hose, Born oxfords
Oh, and I am wearing my new tortoise/green specs (twin of my black ones) that arrived last week. They are perfect for spring!
