Thanks all, for your kind words. It feels so nice to walk around without being bundled up. But best of all is the humidity -- I think it's over 90% right now. Makes my skin and hair happy. It's good timing -- we're on school vacation this week, perfect for playing outside! More snow on the way this weekend, but for the next few days, I'm going to try to break out of my deep winter groove (or rut, depending on my mood) and give some spring-transitional outfits a test run. I *love* transitional dressing -- visible layers! Shoe variety! I'm reviewing my wear-tracking spreadsheet to identify the items that have gotten little-to-no wear this year, and using that information to build a transitional "capsule" of sorts. Yay, data!
I'm going to let my hair get a bit longer, probably to a short stacked bob, and keep the bangs short for a while. Last year I cut my pixie super short twice -- once in April, once in August -- and have been trimming just the tiniest bit off the ends since August, except for a big clean-up in the back, around Christmas time, to prevent a mullet. By mid-summer the bob+bangs might drive me crazy (sweat!), so if I do another big chop it will be then. I hear bobs are trending this year?
