Good morning ladies,
I was buoyed by the success of my booties with rolled pants outfit yesterday so am giving it another try. I was up way too early this morning so was scouring the pinterest pics and the ensembles to come up with a plan. Then I looked at Shannon's WIW today and realized that we must live parallel lives.
I started with the dark olive (bordering on forest) green cargo pants and wanted to wear the navy blazer. I used a sheer off-white top with a dark teal tank under it to seque from the forest/olive to the navy. I added the belt, booties and watch that are all shades of taupe with metallic accents. There is gold at the top of the heel of the booties and the zips are gold. I felt that it needed an accessory at the neck but tried a few pendants and they didn't work. I just realized that I have the perfect scarf that would have tied it together. Next time. I rolled the pants one small roll just to give a touch of separation but am not sure I should have since they are cropped already.
