Wiw: ETA 6/11—speaking of navy

I’ve been challenged myself to wear my navy capsule this week so I’ll update this thread daily. It is FREEZING here.

All are up for utfit lab: cuffs too wide? Pants too short/long? Sleeve too tight? Proportions off? Any addl feedback?

Sun: #1/2 jbrand lovestories, H&M navy terry moto, hand me down grey sweater, Br navy velvet sneaks,Amazon navy belt

Mon: #3/4 denim color Zara linen sweater, navy brooks bros cotton pants, black aquazurra sandals with back tassels

I love the moto. Not an expert on cuffs, but they look good to me. I'm thinking of different footwear though for this.

I’d wear this exact outfit but I’d add black socks. Somehow the bare ankle doesn’t add much to the look, imho, because it seems like a colder weather look overall.

I like the way you're using different navy pieces here to form a coherent look, as in pics 1/2. I think the sleeve length looks good in 1/2. I'm struggling with the length of the pants (not an expert anyway) because while my legs are muscular, yours are slim so the fit of the pant leg is different. FWIW, in pic 4, your pant legs are at two different lengths (maybe you did that on purpose so we could see the contrast?), and I prefer the longer length. Good job putting your navy to work!

@Becky, I just found out that I stand differently in shoes and I’ve been getting my alterations barefoot or in flats so my pants have always been a little uneven—I chalked it up to my previous tailor! A new seamstress pointed this out to me today. I think it’s my scoliosis + how I roll my feet in shoes, especially heels.

@3style, I am warming up to socks + heels. After only 4 years! I pulled the sleeves up to echo the bare ankles.

@Jjsloane, agree with trying shoes that are more covered up

I only originally saw photos one and two. The other two didn’t load.

I meant socks with the sneakers and Moto. The only heels I can manage nowadays are boots, so socks are an obvious choice.
