Today DH and I went to see some friends who live over the border in Michigan. First, though, a stop at the shipping depot to pick up my big black bag choice... the Kate Spade 2 Park Avenue Beau. It was a hard call between this and the DKNY Saffiano tote I was eyeing, but I like the Beau's structure, very small logo, studded feet and studded bow zipper pull. There were lots of bloggers' pictures online so I had a very good idea of what I was getting though I was not able to see it in person before ordering.
Beau is gorgeous in person! The front pocket (hidden by the bow design) has a strong magnetic closure and the inside lining is a lovely champagne colour with gold polka dots. I'll post some better pictures when I pack it for work, but it fits my lunch tote beautifully. I can't wait for Monday!
As far as WIW, I chose a casual outfit that would be comfortable in the car. The high-low tee is semi tucked. I wanted to wear my blue suede booties, but deferred to the extra sloppy weather today and wore my flat leather ankle boots instead. Photo was taken quickly post-dog walk when we got home, so please excuse the less than pristine styling and serious face. Maybe just look at the gorgeous bag instead?
