I've snipped the tags from my new sparkly sweater and am wearing it to work today with my fave skinnies and black flats. Accessories are a vintage cuff and black belt. I am quite happy in this outfit, though I do need to find a more refined looking belt or two if I am going to continue to semi-tuck with jeans.
The sweater has a cool texture. The sleeves are a fine knit, while the front and back are a larger-gauge knit with a bit of slub texture that somehow lays very flat. The metallic detail is actually small flecks of foil applied only to the front. I don't expect this to be a mindbendingly versatile workhorse piece, but do you have any other styling suggestions? All I have come up with so far is to pair it with various shapes of denim.
Also, happily, my first home styling of my new haircut was drama free; the bangs air dried into the correct configuration with minimal coaxing. Hurray!
