So many great elements. The more I think about it, the more I want classy plaid wool pants. "Wow" shirt made me smile and think you are indeed wow. Does your hair just do the curl? Because it is enviable. Why does that jacket look Chinese to me? But besides the individual items that made me look, the way you pull them together is key.

I like the way you've worked red into your new years party. It's always a bit tricky to dress in a way that shows we are celebrating someone else's culture without appropriating it or thinking we can make it ours.

Fashintern, plaid pants have become a mainstay for me- in various fabrics and cuts- such an easy way to add pattern/liveliness.

The hair pretty much just wants to do that, lucky for me. It does NOT want to be long and glossy- I envy the shampoo-commercial hair of the Chinese ladies all around me on the subway every day- but it is happy to be short and wavy! On days when I am “going out” and want it to look dramatic, I just add tons of whatevervolumizing products I have on hand: dry shampoo, pomade, mousse or gel, hairspray- and just mush it around till it’s up.

Anyways - I LOVE everything here - and those metallic boots with the angora/mohair coat (?) is so fantastic. Hair and makeup are great too !

All Fantabulous. I concur with the consensus lack of boring. Those wide leg pants are sooo great - love the metal details. And your going out outfits are making me want a life that includes poetry slams and such just so I have a legit reason to wear lovely bling.
