Sorry I've been too busy to post much lately. I am finding my S/S purchases very versatile and appropriate for my needs. The only big disappointment so far was the sky blue linen top that I already posted, and I'm still trying to figure out if there is a fix. On to the WIW:

Angie recently posted about wearing a drapey top, ankle pants and ankle strap sandals. That ensemble struck a cord with me and I did my best to imitate the look with items I already owned. I don't have any ankle pants, so I rolled hems on my skinny jeans. I think it worked? What do you think? In the second look, I am wearing an interesting vintage necklace I picked up at the art gallery that sells my DD's paintings. I purchased a second pair of Fly London Yesk style shoes. These are tremendously comfortable. They are supposed to be white, but are really more off white. I am ignoring that and hope it isn't too much of a clash with my shirt.

I have done my best to make the best of a pink dress that I couldn't return. I think the WHBM vest improved the dress. I added some funky touches including a brighter pink belt at the waist, some colorful bracelets, and my Opal Green Prada glasses. The necklace was made by my 83 year old aunt. I have book-ended all these looks with light shoes.

My last look is another WHBM top paired with a pair of J Crew Maddie Pants and Chie Mihare shoes which I stretched using the ice method. The thick cords on the front were slightly tight before, but now I can wear these all day and they are very comfortable.
