This is for Parsley! I'm a Thistle twin today and a bit of an Amiable one too, so this is super fun.

Earlier this week Parsley posted that she waaay sized up a sweater to get the oversized fit she was craving. I had just bought a new sweater waaay upsized too to get the slouchy fit I was after, so I promised I would wear it and post it.

Here's my slouchy sweater. Black doesn't photograph well, so I included two super overexposed closeups so that you could see the fit a little better (I hope). It is roomy enough to fold and drape. I think it works because the sleeves remain relatively fitted and I can add a little shaping and draping with the faux tuck.

I added my silver belt, light blue jeans and handmade booties to give it a little tougher edge because I thought the cowl/off-shoulder neckline ran the risk of being too sweet. Did it work? Any other suggestions? I'm always in search of the killer tweak, so bring the ideas on!

Sweater: Ann Taylor, sized up two sizes.
Jeans: American Eagle. My old friend jeans, so shout out to Texstyle who helped me meet my jean bffs. Not boyfriends, but the perfect worn, slightly looser, soft blue jeans for me.
Shoes: cydwoq boots from a few years back. I still adore these.
