WIW: slouchy semi-tucked skirt

Playing around some more with the slouchy top semi-tucked into tulip skirt look. I added the skinny belt to try to visually lower the waist a little bit - does it work? It's unseasonably warm again today (but windy!), but not warm enough for bare legs - I am wearing nude tights in case you were wondering!

Decided this looked better with the scarf so I am keeping it on all day indoors.

handknit top, Gap skirt, ??? scarf, YLF secret santa necklace (via Etsy), Rieker Remonte Dorndorf boots, ??? tights, Anthro trench, and MZ wallace bag.

Love the colors!!!! If it wasn't because I eradicated brown from my closet, I would totally replicate. I am not sure on the belt because I know zero about belting, but it looks good to my eye.

It's nice seeing a slouchy semi-tuck with a skirt as opposed to with jeans or trousers. And it works perfectly! Like Zap, I love the colour combination.

Zap, this skirt is one of the very few non-leather brown things that still survives in my closet. It's kind of tweedy so I find it easier to style than flat brown.

Una, I love the idea of the Boyfriend Skirt! I can't say I came up with the slouchy skirt thing myself, I first got the idea from some of Anna's outfits.

I think a boyfriend skirt would have to be a kilt. hehe.

I like this slouchy skirt/semi-tuck combination a lot. I also find tweed a lot easier to work with than flat brown.

/highfive to a fellow skirt semi-tucker! I have been enjoying doing that with my pencil skirts, all of which are sitting low on my hips. I really like how this looks! And this is a deliciously rich color combo, especially with the lighter boots which are my favorite detail of this outfit.

Really like this! I love the colors, and the scarf is really beautiful. I am still learning about belting, but I think it works and I like the extra sparkle.
