Hi all

I am officially besotted with A line front button skirts. I have 2. The first one (outfit 1) is plain black and in a heavy cotton (like denim). The second one (outfits 2 and 3) is dark blue and in a dressier viscose fabric. It has faux suede patch pockets. I have been trying them out with various sleeveless turtleneck tops. In outfit 1 I am wearing a loose, longer (more modern) top and in outfits 2 and 3 I am wearing more fitted (older style) tops. I thought both styles worked but I would be interested to hear what others think.

I like the skirts with my taupe knee high boots. I like the height for the retro vibe and the paler colour because it is still fairly warm here (daytime temps in the low to mid 20s). I don't feel ready yet for dark boots.

Outfit 1: Country Road black A line skirt with BR teal top. Siren boots. Mink Pink fringed faux suede cross body bag. Tan jewellery. I wore this for a daytime outing to the city that included lunch in a café. Curly wurly hair.

Outfit 2: Witchery blue A line skirt with multi coloured D Exterior top (old). Siren boots. Faith bag from ASOS. Pewter bracelet. I wore this to a casual dinner with DH.

Outfit 3: Witchery blue A line skirt with blue Fly3 top (old, from Yoox). Siren boots. Faith bag from ASOS. I wore this to dinner with some girlfriends. I have had the circle belt forever. It is in my favourite dark green, like the bracelet. I took the cardigan (old, from Barneys Co-op) with me, but did not need it in the end.

As always, feedback and suggestions are appreciated.
