Worn to work and sundry errands. Bag also holds hot pink viscose 'pashmina' that I forgot to photograph, needed in the Arctic Office.

Is outdoing the sunset a bit too bright in the a.m.? At high noon, especially? You tell me --- but this combination has been running around my head ever since I got those red skinnies; and I just *had* to try it once. Is the longer length of tunic too stumpifying as well, especially with flats?

Apologies for the wet bedraggled hair fresh from the shower. I promise it dries into something more presentable by the time I arrive at work.

Also, because I couldn't NOT add orange to hot pink and bright red... I wore orange agate earrings --- and then added an extra drop of silver for good measure (the kurta, aka tunic, has gold trim at sleeves and neckline; pre-YLF I'd have had to feel especially m-a-d to even try combining metallics). By which I mean, I wore both earrings at once!

The orange stone beads on a hook feel too heavy for their slim 'throat' and, to me, look like they dangle in mid-air below my ears. The old tarnished silver-wire filigree is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and was a wedding gift from a dear friend, but feels a bit frail for my own non-frail proportions. So I doubled up. And was surprised to like the results enough to wear them again and again. The last photo shows you the earrings separately.
