I love the combo of skirts and boots (of all sorts!) After today's blog post I want to try some looks with tall boots, but we are having a weird warm autumn here and it hasn't really been cold enough most days for tall boots yet. The good thing about this weather is it's ideal for bare legs and boots, which I love.
Anyway, here are a few versions of the look that I've worn in the last week or two.
1-2: cropped hoodie layered over a striped tee and embroidered skirt, with my gold toed lace-up boots.
3: relaxed floral blouse over tomato trumpet skirt, with pointy flat booties. I wore this to a birthday dinner. The black thing I am carrying is a little jacket, which I barely needed because it was ridiculously warm that night.
4: hand knit linen "matrix" sweater over pleated skirt with slouchy taupe boots. Wearing this today! I have been LOVING this pleated skirt lately and getting a lot of inspiration from pleated skirt looks all over the place. I really want to get a solid colored one as well, because this print one clashes with some of my tops.
