WIW silver & gear to shop for a bike

Ok, here I am wearing gear as real clothing! I'm guessing most people would never know.

I decided to try these pants from Athleta while I was looking for a rash guard. They are lightweight, comfy, suitable for almost any activity, and a good length for me. They also seemed pleasantly but not overly slouchy.

Added a silver tank from last summer that I really enjoyed wearing but I'm not sure if I ever shared it here. It needs a little bandeau top underneath because the armholes are deep, but I don't mind that. Did a partial tuck, added my openwork silver necklace and decided to bookend in a way with the openwork Tuttle sandals. I added close ups so you can see the ruching on the leg of the pants and the silver in the top.

Spending some time in the studio today and then meeting a friend who is going to help me shop for a new bike. Wheee! I did 46.7 miles yesterday so I'm almost halfway to a century!

I would never guess you were in gear!! You look amazing. I especially love the drape you achieved with the pants and tank. And, of course, the turquioise purse is a beautiful pop of color.

Actually, crutcher, I'm really not sore! My knees are maybe a little tender today, but I'm feeling pretty good. I've been regularly doing 15- mile rides during the week and going up to 35-40 miles for a long weekend ride, so I'm working my distance up gradually. Nonetheless, today is a rest day -- no running or biking, but I will get my four miles of walking in!

Here I am with my new ride! I took an impromptu test ride, and it's 88 degrees here, so I'm a little sweaty. Had to take off the necklace, and I had running shoes in the car, at least.

Jackie, these are a medium. I briefly considered sizing up, but I'm glad I didn't because they give just a wee bit with wear. They have a nice amount of stretch but still give a slight slouchy appearance.

For anyone with really slender calves, the hems may not stay scrunched on you, if you think you may want to wear them pushed up a little to clam digger length (a length I like). The elasticized ruching is not tight and may slip down. I think my calves are about 14.5-14.75" (I only occasionally can't fit into tall boots), so just a FYI.
