Such a fantastic outfit. You are so willing to experiment and embrace so many styles. Some work not as well as others, but your overall arc of success is reaching higher and higher, and this is a prime example. It is such a YOU look, with interesting texture, not quite rough but not tame and predictable in its lines. It's very fluid and edgy but not self-consciously so. A winner!

Thanks, ladies! The Redneck Paralegal asked if I was wearing his old parachute pants, which was slightly irritating, but other than that I loved wearing this, especially the cardi! I love Manidipa's description of "edgy without edge" - I guess this can be my version of soft dressing. Will put it in my small but hopefully growing folder of "Yay!" outfits.
Absolute perfection! I completely covet that cardigan. I'm afraid that if it were mine I'd just play with it all day and get no work done. Or I'd spend all my time running around showing other people and scrunching "look how cool this is!"
Meredith, yes, it is some kind of steel knit. Diana has knit with it. It's soft and not stiff but can be crushed into various shapes. For example when I push the sleeves up, they stay in that shape, even when I take off the sweater.
