In a couple of posts this summer, I've explored shorts style. First, with a Wild Fang shorts outfit that reminded me of some I wore in the 90s--which I ended up returning. And next with an outfit or two in which I was looking for advice on keeping my shorts style authentic and with a little bit of sophistication that I want to maintain in my style.
One of my sewing gurus is Linda Lee of The Sewing Workshop, and in a recent video featuring linen fabrics, there was a shorts set that caught my eye. I had both patterns, so I gave it a try.
Here's the result, which I'm wearing today. I'm happy with how it turned out. I can wear both pieces with others in my wardrobe, too, so it offers more variety that it might appear.
