Angie recently asked about shorts recommendations in this thread. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of shorts. I often run cold and my legs are rather large (at least to my eye, after all I'm a pear shape) so I typically sport cropped bottoms instead.
But sometimes the occasion simply calls for shorts.
The JCrew chino shorts I put in the finds below were one of my picks for a casual summer wardrobe over on my blog. I've had mine for 3 years and they still look great. I went up 1 size so that the shorts aren't snug against my thighs.
