WIW Shopping: in Holiday Mode

I was amazed how many compliments I got on these inexpensive earrings. ($3 @ Kohls last year). Maybe we are just in the mood for bling at this time of year.

I was hot in outfit 1, so today I gave up all the layers and ran into the mall with just a

These are fantastic outfits! I like your cream sweater, plaid scarf, and brown boots ensemble. Oh and you have that wonderful JCrew tneck too - I so wanted that! It looks lovely on you, and I like it paired with the red. Your pendant works perfectly here as well. I really love your hair as well. You look really polished

Oh my goodness -- you look so festive and pretty. I love those earrings, too. What a terrific find. Festive but not silly.

Both outfits are great, but I especially love the one with the (gorgeous) plaid scarf. You look serene yet spunky. That oatmeal sweater is wonderful on you with the plaid.

Nice outfits! I'm particularly fond of the first, that's a fabulous creamy cable sweater and I'm a sucker for all things plaid. The second one is a moody festive version, quite fun; between the sleeves being pushed up and your lovely hair I think you've got enough lightness there to keep from feeling too heavy.
