I promised I would play seasonal confusion to my heart’s content now that I’m in the climate for it, and so I am.

We went to see my husband’s favorite band earlier this week. It was over 90 earlier in the day, but down to the upper 60s by the time we left. I wore my breeziest summer dress (silk with a deep-V in back) with a long velvet scarf and booties. My photos are...not great. Pick your poison—scratched-up club mirror or blurry 1am home shot.

People watching was fab, and the crowd was all over the place. I saw a woman in a red skirt suit, two in (faux) fur jackets, and one in full, fluttery, light floral bohemian. One guy looked like he just rolled off the beach, in board shorts and sandals with socks. In Denver, this same band attracted a mostly goth crowd.
