I am pretty sure I've worn this outfit before, but I'm okay with that. At the beginning of fall I assembled a capsule of work and smart casual wear that has been serving me well and that I have not tired of. Success! I'll be thinking about how and why it works to see if I can't replicate that success in the summer....
Since it is not cold enough to require a cardigan, I scrunched the sleeves on my gingham button down and semi-tucked it in to boot cut jeans. I wore my flat leather ankle boots in deference to the sloppy slush outside and added a black leather belt and my big, bold Tardis watch (Christmas gift from DH!) by way of accessories.
