I went to a concert of the barbershop chorus my husband is in. The weather was warm so I wore a muumuu dress I got last year from Natural Life but had not yet worn. It’s rather loose, not like other dresses I’m used to wearing, but I love the colors and it is unique and arty for around my area. My earrings are dull gold with turquoise beads.
My obstacles before were shoes and topper. None of my sandals seemed to be right. This isn’t the kind of dress for just any jacket. But this satin pajama shirt jacket with a design of burgundy with dark teal leopards, from Macy’s brand On 34th, and Anne Klein knit Mary Jane ballet flats, both new this spring, seemed to be just right. Actually the jacket was surprising. When I looked in the closet to see what might work, the colors were perfect, and I think it’s a perfect print mix. What do you think?
I wore this in public and felt great, so I will repeat.
