Yesterday was a mix of casual daytime activities (shopping, errands) and dressier evening activities (symphony, post-concert nice dinner). It's been really warm this weekend so there's still plenty of sandals and bare legs.
#1 (casual BF crops, slouchy tee, black accents) is what I wore during the day to go to two malls. I chased down that BR blazer, returned all the shoes to Nordies (LOTS of shoe math money now!), exchanged the gap pants that they sent me the wrong size of, and played with the new iphone at the apple store. I actually wore it again today but only to go out for groceries.
I changed into #2 (mod dress, fluevog booties) to go to the symphony and dinner afterwards. The BSO did an all-Brahms program and it was wonderful... I was also pleasantly surprised by the dressiness level of the symphony patrons last night. Usually there's at least some people in jeans and North Face but last night there were a lot of suits, LBDs, and other nice outfits. Maybe because it is opening weekend or maybe because it was a saturday (I often go on Thurs. or Fri. which is less dressy generally, but on Saturdays people seem to make more of an effort). These Fluevogs have magical leg-lengthening powers despite being snub-nosed ankle booties! I also had my red trench but did not get a photo.
#1: Current/Elliott jeans, H&M top, Naot sandals, Dakine bag.
#2: Anthro dress, Fluevog booties, Via Spiga handbag.
