It's feeling like summer here in the Sierras. I was debating wearing jeans with this sweater, but it's just a bit too warm. First I tried my denim mini, but that felt a bit too young or trendy or something. Switched to the lightweight fine wale olive cord skirt. Tied up my Mo Hop sandals for a little color and I'm off! This is the open weave sweater I got after coveting Denise's drop needle stitch sweater.

That open weave sweater is gorgeous Mo. I think this is a really good casual and stylish outfit. The white is a very flattering color in you. Are you getting good wear from the sandals? Am I right in thinking they have a variety of colored ribbons?

And it's going to get even hotter, high 90s tomorrow. I am flattered that I inspired the loose knit sweater. You look great, and the shoes are very attractive and flattering. Never heard of Mo Hop, will have to check them out.

New top is sweet! The openwork is perfect for a warm evening. Olive is such a versatile color. I don't know why we don't see more of it out there. Fab with a raspberry shoe.

Thanks for the comments. Sorry I didn't get back until today. Deborah, yes the sandals have interchangeable ribbons. I wish the lighting were better for the picture of the top - its open weave is really fun! Angie, I'm flattered you think it's a 10 on me! (blushing)
I ended up going to an Italian bistro and was thinking I might be kinda too casual . . . until other diners showed up in almost gear. But since it wasn't even dark out (5pm), casual for dinner felt okay.

EDIT: Denise, yes it is getting toasty out. It's funny that technically this is corduroy and a sweater, just not in the typical heavier fall fabrications. Once you described the sweater when we were shopping, I knew I wanted one. After actually seeing it in a WIW, I was beyond hope lol.
